"Family, Fans, and Doctors Gave Me Strength": Shiva Rajkumar on Overcoming Cancer

Kannada star actor Shiva Rajkumar, who was diagnosed with cancer, is currently recovering. He is playing a key role in the upcoming sports-oriented movie starring Global Star Ram Charan and directed by Buchi Babu Sana. In a recent interview, Shiva Rajkumar shared his experience of battling cancer.

He revealed that he was diagnosed with cancer in April last year. At the time, he had several film commitments and initially assumed that the symptoms he was experiencing were due to a lack of rest. However, when the symptoms persisted, he underwent medical tests, which confirmed that he had cancer.

"I was extremely anxious when I found out I had cancer. However, with the support of my family, fans, and doctors, I was able to regain my strength. During chemotherapy, I became very weak and often felt exhausted. Despite undergoing treatment, I continued to participate in some film shoots," said Shiva Rajkumar.

Following his cancer treatment, he focused on improving his diet and lifestyle. "Yoga has now become an integral part of my life. From the first week of next month, I will resume my film commitments. I am acting in Ram Charan's Telugu film and will soon participate in its shooting. My role in this film will be very special," he added.

After his diagnosis, Shiva Rajkumar underwent treatment in the United States, where he stayed for several months. He recently returned to Bengaluru and is currently resting.
