Shankar Naik Caught in Spa Raid, Expelled from YSRCP

The YSRCP has expelled Vaditya Somasankar Naik, a former member of the Scheduled Tribes Commission, following his involvement in a police raid on a spa allegedly operating as a front for prostitution. The YSRCP central office officially announced the expulsion.

Police from Machavaram conducted a raid on "Studio 9 Spa & Salon" in the Veterinary Colony of Vijayawada based on concrete information about illegal activities. During the operation, Shankar Naik reportedly attempted to evade arrest by hiding under a bed in one of the rooms. However, he was soon discovered and apprehended by the police. Videos of the incident have since gone viral on social media.

Following the circulation of these videos, Naik allegedly confronted the police, expressing his distress over the impact on his reputation. He reportedly stated that his wife had threatened to take her own life due to the incident. Naik also expressed anger, claiming that the videos had been deliberately leaked with the intention of tarnishing his image.
