Winning Just 11 Seats and Seeking Opposition Status is Laughable: Achchennaidu
Minister Achchennaidu strongly criticized YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) chief Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy and his party's MLAs, alleging that they attended the assembly only to mark their presence and then walked out. He accused the YSRCP legislators of leaving the session within ten minutes of their arrival on Monday, despite expectations that they would participate in discussions on public issues.
Achchennaidu claimed that YSRCP MLAs were present merely to avoid losing their membership and not out of genuine interest in assembly proceedings. He also criticized their demand for official opposition status, stating that it was unprecedented for a party that won only eleven seats to make such a request.
He further remarked that it was unfortunate that senior leaders within YSRCP continued to support Jagan Mohan Reddy. Accusing the party of being built on corruption and falsehoods, Achchennaidu alleged that YSRCP was repeating past misinformation to mislead the public.
