BRS Alone Can Fight for the People of Telangana: KCR
Hyderabad: Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) President and former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao stated that only BRS understands the struggles of the people of Telangana and is capable of fighting for them. Speaking at an extended party executive meeting at Telangana Bhavan in Hyderabad, he alleged that the Congress government in the state has failed and urged party members to fight for the people.
K. Chandrashekar Rao asserted that BRS is the only party genuinely concerned about Telangana and its people. Expressing confidence in the party’s return to power, he claimed that the state has regressed under Congress rule despite being achieved after decades of struggle. He called for a renewed fight with the same spirit that led to the formation of Telangana.
During the meeting, discussions were held regarding the organization of the party’s silver jubilee celebrations, membership drives, structural committees, and plenary sessions. K. Chandrashekar Rao provided an overview of BRS’s journey from its inception to the present, highlighting the Telangana movement and the developmental efforts undertaken during BRS’s tenure in power.
K. Chandrashekar Rao announced that BRS would hold a large-scale public meeting on April 27 as part of its silver jubilee celebrations, which will continue throughout the year. He also decided to form party committees and appointed Harish Rao as the in-charge of these committees.
