UPSC Extends Application Deadline for Civil Services Aspirants

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced an extension for the Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2025 application deadline, providing relief to aspirants. Candidates can now submit their applications until 6:00 PM on February 21, 2025.

Last month, UPSC issued a notification for the CSE 2025 to fill approximately 979 vacancies in All India Services. The application process, which began on January 22, 2025, was initially set to close on February 11, 2025, before being extended to February 18, 2025. With the latest decision, applicants now have an additional three days to complete their submissions.

UPSC has also announced that candidates will be allowed to make corrections in their applications from February 22 to February 28, 2025.

The UPSC Civil Services Preliminary Examination 2025 is scheduled to be conducted on May 25, 2025. In addition to the Civil Services Examination, UPSC has extended the application deadline for 150 vacancies in the Indian Forest Service (IFoS) until February 21, 2025.
