Union Minister Ram Mohan Naidu Credits CM Chandrababu for AP’s Budget Boost
Union Minister Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu made key remarks during a press conference held in Guntur. He stated that due to the efforts of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, the state received increased allocations in the Union Budget.
He alleged that the previous government’s mistakes led to a ₹15,000 crore loss under the Jal Jeevan Mission. However, he said that the Central government extended the scheme for another year following Chandrababu Naidu’s request.
Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu further stated that the previous administration's errors had now become an obstacle to securing funds. Despite this, he claimed that the Central government had provided unprecedented support to Andhra Pradesh over the past seven months due to Chandrababu Naidu’s efforts. He also emphasized that Andhra Pradesh is currently governed by a "double-engine government," referring to the cooperation between the state and central administrations.
