CM Chandrababu Naidu Inaugurates International Temples Conference in Tirupati

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu inaugurated the International Temples Conference in Tirupati. The three-day event, referred to as the "Mahakumbh of Temples," has attracted representatives from 1,581 temples across 58 countries.

Key dignitaries present at the inauguration included Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant, and Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Chairman B.R. Naidu. The conference features 15 workshops and 60 stalls, focusing on various aspects of temple management, heritage conservation, and religious tourism.

Kerala Governor Arif Mohammed Khan and Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan are scheduled to attend the conference on another day, while Andhra Pradesh Minister Nara Lokesh will participate on February 19.

During the inauguration, TTD Chairman B.R. Naidu formally requested Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis to allocate land for TTD in Mumbai. He urged for land to establish a temple dedicated to Goddess Padmavathi and an information center in Bandra. The request was submitted in the form of a memorandum, handed over to Fadnavis by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu.
