February 14 Should Be a Day of Tribute, Not Just Romance: VHP

The Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) has issued a statement in the context of Valentine's Day. VHP Telangana campaign chief Pagudakula Balaswami stated that February 14 is not only Valentine's Day but also the remembrance day of the Pulwama martyrs. He urged people to observe the day as a tribute to the soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the nation.

Balaswami further emphasized that the youth should act wisely and refrain from engaging in unethical activities under the guise of love. He stated that a candlelight memorial rally is being organized today to honor the souls of the Pulwama martyrs.
