U.S. President Donald Trump has gifted Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi a special book titled Our Journey Together. Trump personally signed the book and inscribed the message, "Mr. Prime Minister, You Are Great."
The 320-page book highlights key moments from their diplomatic engagements, particularly the Howdy Modi and Namaste Trump events. The Howdy Modi rally took place in September 2019 at a football stadium in Houston, Texas, where over 50,000 Indian Americans gathered. Both Modi and Trump addressed the crowd at the event, which was seen as a significant display of Indo-U.S. relations.
Five months later, in February 2020, India hosted the Namaste Trump event at the world's largest cricket stadium in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The book includes photographs capturing these two large-scale events, along with other iconic moments from Trump's first presidential term.
