Wellington, March 21: Martin Guptill's unbeaten 237 powered New Zealand to the semi-finals of the cricket World Cup as they defeated the West Indies by 143 runs in a quarter-final at the Wellington Regional Stadium here on Saturday. Guptill's double century powered the hosts to 393/6. In reply, the West Indies were bowled out for 250 in 30.3 overs. In the first semi-final on March 24, New Zealand will face South Africa in Auckland.
