Expensive Electric Two-Wheelers Donated to Tirumala Sri Venkateswara Swamy

Tirumala Sri Venkateswara Swamy receives offerings from millions of devotees daily, with contributions varying from cash and jewelry to other valuable gifts. Business magnates, political leaders, and film celebrities often donate generously to the temple. While monetary and gold donations are common, on Tuesday, two expensive electric two-wheelers were presented as offerings to the deity.
TVS, based in Chennai, and NDS Eco, headquartered in Bengaluru, donated electric two-wheelers to the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD). Representatives from both companies handed over the two vehicles to TTD officials on Tuesday. According to company representatives, the TVS iQube X model is valued at ₹2.70 lakh, while the NDS Eco vehicle costs ₹1.56 lakh.
Following a special puja conducted at the temple premises, the bike keys were formally handed over to TTD Assistant Executive Officer Venkayya Chowdary. On this occasion, Venkayya Chowdary appreciated the contributions. The event was attended by TVS Chairman Venu Srinivasan, Managing Director Sudarshan, Tirumala Deputy Inspector Subramaniam, NDS Eco Chairman M.H. Reddy, and other dignitaries.
