Beer Gets Costlier in Telangana—Check the Updated Prices
The Telangana Beverages Corporation Limited has decided to increase beer prices by 15%. The revised prices will come into effect starting today. According to estimates by the Telangana Excise Department, this price hike is expected to generate additional revenue of over ₹700 crore for the state government.
With the increase in prices, different beer brands in Telangana will now cost as follows:
Light Beer: Previously ₹150, now ₹172
Kingfisher Premium: Previously ₹160, now ₹184
Budweiser Light: Previously ₹210, now ₹241.5
Kingfisher Ultra Max: Previously ₹220, now ₹253
Budweiser Magnum: Previously ₹220, now ₹253
Tuborg Strong: Previously ₹240, now ₹276
This price revision is part of the state government's efforts to boost revenue through excise duty adjustments.
