Gali Muddukrishnama Naidu’s Second Son Joins YSRCP – A Setback for Roja?
Former minister Gali Muddukrishnama Naidu’s second son, Gali Jagadish, is set to join the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP). This comes amid a phase where several leaders have left YSRCP to join other parties. However, the party has also been witnessing new inductions, with Congress leader and former minister Sake Sailajanath recently joining YSRCP in the presence of Chief Minister Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy.
Jagadish’s entry has sparked speculation within YSRCP circles, with reports suggesting that former minister and ex-Nagari MLA R. K. Roja was not informed about this development. There is growing talk that Jagan Mohan Reddy's decision to bring Jagadish into the party is part of a broader strategy to sideline Roja in the Nagari constituency.
Additionally, Roja is known to have differences with senior YSRCP leader Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy, adding another layer of political intrigue to this development. Notably, Gali Jagadish is the brother of Gali Bhanuprakash, the current Telugu Desam Party (TDP) MLA from Nagari. Furthermore, Jagadish’s father-in-law is a key political figure in Karnataka.
