Paytm App Users Can Now Book Hotels in India & Abroad
Paytm has launched a new service on its app, allowing users to book hotels directly through the platform. To facilitate this feature, One97 Communications Digital, which operates under the Paytm brand, has partnered with online travel platform Agoda. This collaboration enables hotel bookings not only in India but also in other countries through the Paytm app.
Paytm Travel already provides booking services for flights, trains, and buses. Introducing hotel bookings is seen as a significant step forward, according to Paytm Travel CEO Vikas Jalan. He stated that this partnership enhances Paytm’s position as a comprehensive travel service provider.
Agoda representative Damian Peach noted that integrating hotel booking services into Paytm will make the process more convenient for travelers.
