30 killed ,150 injured as train derails in UP

Lucknow, March 20, 2015: 30 persons were killed and 150 others seriously injured as Dehardun-Varanasi Janata express train has derailed this morning in UP. The derailment took place at Bachrawan railway station in Rai Bareli district. Railway authorities have ordered an inquiry into the accident and announced an ex-gratia of Rs. 2 lakh each to the families of those killed, Rs.50,000 each to those seriously injured and Rs. 20,000 to those slightly injured.
