Plan Grand Arrangements for Godavari and Krishna Pushkaralu: Revanth Reddy
Revanth Reddy emphasized the need for a world-class tourism policy that appeals to both domestic and international tourists. He specifically urged officials to focus on eco-tourism and temple tourism. He instructed the Revenue, Forest, and Tourism Departments to devise strategies to draw pilgrims and tourists during the Sammakka-Saralamma Jatara. He suggested the development of a tourism circuit connecting temples and tourist spots near the Jatara site.
The Chief Minister also stressed the importance of enhancing eco-tourism in regions such as Adilabad, Warangal, and Nagarjuna Sagar. Additionally, he proposed the development of a tourism circuit linking Indira Park, Sanjeevaiah Park, and NTR Park.
Revanth Reddy recommended studying Singapore’s eco-tourism model for implementation in Telangana. He stated that strengthening the tourism sector would bring greater recognition and revenue to the state.
