Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy extended his heartfelt congratulations to Indian cricketer Gongadi Trisha, hailing her as "Telangana’s Daughter" for her outstanding performance in the ICC Under-19 Women’s World Cup. Trisha made history by scoring the tournament's first-ever century and delivered an all-round performance that helped India secure a commanding victory against Scotland. The match took place today at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Revanth Reddy took to Twitter to praise Trisha’s achievements, saying, “Kudos Telangana’s Daughter! Gongadi Trisha has created history by becoming the first cricketer to score a century in the Women’s Under-19 T20 World Cup, showcasing India’s strength on the global stage. My heartfelt congratulations to her.”

Trisha, who hails from Bhadrachalam in Bhadradri Kothagudem district, played a key role in India’s success. The Chief Minister described her accomplishments as a matter of pride for everyone in Telangana. He expressed hope that Trisha would continue to shine and inspire budding athletes from the state.

Revanth Reddy further emphasized the Telangana government’s commitment to nurturing sports talent, stating, “Our government is working tirelessly to produce more extraordinary athletes like Trisha.
