Challa Dhananjaya Appointed as Additional Solicitor General of Andhra Pradesh High Court
Challa Dhananjaya, a senior advocate of the Andhra Pradesh High Court, has been appointed as the Additional Solicitor General. The Union Ministry of Law and Justice issued the official orders following the approval of President Droupadi Murmu. The notification was released on Monday, confirming that Dhananjaya will represent the Union Government in the High Court. His tenure in this position is set for three years, as stated in the ministry’s directive.

Hailing from Bheemavaram in the erstwhile West Godavari district, Challa Dhananjaya completed his Bachelor of Laws (LLB) at Andhra University’s College of Law. He enrolled as an advocate in 1983 and practiced in Rajamahendravaram until 1987, after which he shifted his practice to the High Court. In 2022, the High Court conferred upon him the designation of Senior Advocate, recognizing his expertise and contributions to the legal field.
