'Padma Bhushan' Balakrishna Honored by Akhanda-2 Film Crew

Nandamuri Balakrishna, a senior Tollywood actor and MLA representing Hindupur, was recently conferred the prestigious Padma Bhushan award by the Indian government. The announcement has been met with widespread congratulations from various prominent figures.

On Monday, Balakrishna returned to the sets of his upcoming film Akhanda 2 – Tandavam after receiving the award. The film's team organized a grand felicitation on the set to honor him. As part of the celebration, Balakrishna cut a cake amidst cheers and extended congratulations from the crew.

Directed by Boyapati Srinu, Akhanda 2 – Tandavam is a sequel to the 2021 blockbuster Akhanda. The first installment achieved massive success, elevating expectations for the sequel. Currently, the film is being shot in Hyderabad on a grand scale. With a significant budget backing the project, the film is slated for a theatrical release on September 25, 2025, coinciding with the festive occasion of Dussehra.
