Manda Krishna arrested for trying to lay siege to Assembly

Hyderabad, March 18, 2015: Police have arrested Madiga Reservation Porata Samiti chief Manda Krishna Madiga at the AP assembly premises here on Wednesday when he led hundreds of MRPS activists to lay siege to the assembly. Police have also arrested dozens of activists who raised slogans against Chandrababu Government for its failure in implementing its poll promise on classification of SCs. Manda Krishna told reporters later that he will not stop his agitation seeking SC classification. "Chandrababu has cheated us. We will teach a fitting lesson to him in the next elections," he said, serving a stern warning to the TDP Government. Manda Krishna, who is never tired of leading such agitations, was arrested several times earlier for leading the agitation over classification.
