Vijayasai Cannot Escape the Law Even After Resignation: Ganta Srinivasa Rao
Senior YSRCP leader and Rajya Sabha MP Vijayasai Reddy recently announced his decision to step away from politics, sparking widespread discussion in Andhra Pradesh’s political circles. In a further development, Vijayasai Reddy has also resigned from his MP position, adding to the buzz surrounding his political exit.
Reacting to this, Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leader and former minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao remarked that even though Vijayasai has resigned and distanced himself from politics, he "cannot escape the law." Ganta Srinivasa Rao alleged that the residents of Visakhapatnam suffered under Vijayasai Reddy’s tenure, citing instances of destruction and attacks that he claimed could not be forgotten.
Reiterating his long-standing prediction, Ganta Srinivasa Rao stated, “I had already said that YSRCP is a sinking ship, and now my words are coming true.”
He also criticized YSRCP leaders for their handling of the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant issue, accusing them of continuing to adopt a flawed stance on the matter. According to him, their actions have deterred industrialists from investing in Andhra Pradesh.
Highlighting the achievements of the TDP government under N. Chandrababu Naidu, Ganta Srinivasa Rao said, “During his tenure, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu established Andhra Pradesh as a trusted brand among industrialists, including at international forums like Davos.”
