IT Hub Faces Internet Cut: KTR Responds to News Report

BRS Working President K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) has criticized the Congress government over its alleged mismanagement of IT hubs in Telangana. Responding to a news article published by Sakshi, which reported an internet outage disrupting services for three days at an IT hub, KTR took to X (formerly Twitter) to express his concerns. The report claimed that employees were instructed to work from home due to the lack of internet connectivity.

KTR highlighted that the previous BRS government had established around eight IT hubs across Telangana, not just in Hyderabad but also in other tier-2 cities, as part of its vision to expand the IT sector. He alleged that since the Congress assumed power, these well-functioning IT hubs have started to deteriorate.

KTR further claimed that the IT hubs are struggling due to unpaid electricity and internet bills, forcing some companies to shut down. He called this situation "deeply unfortunate" and criticized what he described as "irresponsible actions driven by animosity towards the previous administration."

He urged the Congress government to stop such practices and ensure the proper functioning of the IT hubs, which were established with the goal of providing employment opportunities for the youth of Telangana. “These IT hubs were created with a noble intention to empower Telangana’s youth with jobs. I sincerely request the government to maintain them responsibly,” KTR tweeted.
