Supreme Court Grants Relief to YSRCP Leader Gautam Reddy in Attempted Murder Case
YSRCP leader Gautam Reddy has been granted anticipatory bail by the Supreme Court in connection with an attempted murder case filed against him. The court, while approving the bail, imposed some conditions on Gautam Reddy to ensure his cooperation with the ongoing investigation.
The bench comprising Justice Parthivala and Justice Mahadevan issued directives stating that Gautam Reddy must appear whenever summoned by the investigating officer and extend full cooperation to the investigation. Additionally, the court ordered Gautam Reddy not to threaten witnesses or tamper with evidence.
The case against Gautam Reddy stems from allegations that he attempted to seize land valued at ₹5 crore. It is further alleged that he arranged a contract killing of the landowner to acquire the property.
