Sharmila's Bold Accusation: Chandrababu Afraid to Act Against Adani
AP Congress Chief YS Sharmila has criticized Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, accusing him of needing concrete information to take action against Gautam Adani. She mocked his statements, calling them the biggest joke of the decade.

Sharmila questioned how Chandrababu Naidu, while in the opposition, went to court over power agreements without any information. She asked why he claimed there was corruption in the agreements with Adani and why he said that purchasing power from Adani at higher rates burdened the state with ₹1 lakh crore. She also questioned why he accused the state of being looted by Adani from the Tadepalli Palace.

Sharmila criticized Chandrababu Naidu for considering Adani an enemy while in opposition but becoming his friend once in power. She mentioned that the American investigation agency FBI reported that the former Chief Minister (Jagan) took ₹1,700 crores in bribes in the agreement with Adani Power.

She pointed out that cases were filed against Adani in American courts. Despite all the evidence, she accused Chandrababu Naidu of misleading the public by asking for concrete information. She said that Chandrababu Naidu's failure to involve the ACB to investigate the agreements is proof of protecting Adani.

Sharmila demanded the immediate cancellation of the Adani power agreements, which burdened the state with ₹1 lakh crore.
