KCR warns govt employees not looking after parents

Hyderabad, March 17, 2015: Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhara Rao has sought a list of government employees who have abandoned parents to their fate. Responding to a query on the issue in the assembly, the Chief Minister has directed the officials to prepare a list of all government employees who are not looking after their parents. "I will take steps to ensure that the parents are looked after well by these people. We will force them to look after their parents' welfare," he said. The government will try to stop pensions to employees who are not looking after parents, KCR said and added. "We will also try to help abandoned parents through relevant laws."
