Home Minister Anita on Lokesh’s Prospects as Deputy Chief Minister
The demand to appoint Minister Nara Lokesh as Deputy Chief Minister in Andhra Pradesh has been gaining momentum. TDP MLAs have argued that Lokesh deserves the position, citing his efforts in the "Yuvagalam" padayatra to reinvigorate the party and bring it back to power. They claim that Lokesh is fully qualified to take on the role of Deputy Chief Minister.
Responding to this issue, Andhra Pradesh Home Minister Anitha shared her views during her visit to Simhachalam. Addressing the media, she remarked, “It is all up to divine will. What is written on one’s forehead cannot be erased. Let’s see if it is predestined for Lokesh. Positions come to us only through the blessings of God. If everyone prays, any position can be attained.”
On a related note, the Home Minister expressed her satisfaction with the Union government’s announcement of a significant package for the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, calling it a positive development.
