Hyderabad Vendor Sells a Banana for ₹100, Surprises Russian Tourist – Watch Video
Bananas are typically sold by the dozen in Indian markets, with current prices ranging from ₹60 to ₹80 per dozen. However, a Russian tourist recently encountered an unusual experience in Hyderabad that left him surprised. A street vendor quoted a price of ₹100 for a single banana, a moment that the tourist captured and shared on social media.

In the video, the Russian tourist approaches the street vendor with a friendly greeting and inquires about the price of a single banana. To his astonishment, the vendor confidently replies, "₹100." Despite the tourist repeatedly clarifying that he was asking for the price of just one banana, the vendor maintained the same price. Expressing his disbelief, the tourist declined to make the purchase and walked away, describing the situation as “crazy pricing” in his video.

In his post, the tourist remarked that for the same price, one could buy eight bananas in the UK, while here in Hyderabad, it was the price for just one. He added that he believed the vendor understood his question and intended to quote ₹100 for the single fruit.

The video has since gone viral, sparking discussions about price discrepancies and tourist experiences in India.
