TDP Politburo Member Calls for Nara Lokesh’s Promotion to Deputy CM
Today marks the death anniversary of the legendary actor, founder of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), and former Chief Minister, Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao (NTR). A grand commemoration event was held in Mydukur, YSR district, to honor NTR’s legacy. Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu was among the attendees, where an unexpected proposal was brought forth.
During the event, TDP Politburo member Srinivas Reddy made a public request to Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, urging him to promote Nara Lokesh, Chandrababu Naidu’s son, to the position of Deputy Chief Minister.
Addressing Chandrababu Naidu directly, Srinivas Reddy said, “We have one request, Sir. After 43 years since TDP’s inception, the third-generation leader, Nara Lokesh, has joined our party. For the future of the party and to instill confidence among the youth, we appeal to you to promote Nara Lokesh as the Deputy Chief Minister.”
