Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan Orders Report on Long-Pending Employee Cases

Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan has issued key directives to the Principal Secretaries of Panchayat Raj, Rural Development, and Forest Departments, emphasizing the need for a meticulous vigilance system to monitor employee performance. He stated that maintaining vigilance would serve as a magnifying lens, ensuring employees remain alert and perform optimally. The Deputy CM underscored the importance of integrity, efficiency, and commitment in government services.

In a press release from his office, Pawan Kalyan highlighted that vigilance cases, departmental inquiries, investigations, and disciplinary actions pending for several years negatively impact the overall performance and morale of employees. To address this, he instructed the respective department heads to submit a comprehensive report within three weeks detailing pending departmental cases, their duration, and reasons for delay.

The Deputy CM expressed concern over cases remaining unresolved for decades, with some reportedly pending for over 20 years. This prolonged delay has resulted in adverse consequences for employees, including the inability to receive post-retirement benefits and stunted career progression during their service tenure.

Pawan Kalyan stressed the urgency of accelerating actions based on vigilance reports within his departments. To achieve this, he recommended introducing specific guidelines to streamline and expedite the resolution of cases.
