There Is a Difference Between That Kannappa and My Kannappa: Manchu Vishnu
Tollywood actor Manchu Vishnu is advancing the prestigious "Kannappa" project, which he describes as his dream venture. Promotions for the film are in full swing, with a press meet held Friday in Bengaluru. The event was attended by Manchu Vishnu, director Mukesh Kumar Singh, veteran actor Sarath Kumar, and choreographer-actor Prabhu Deva.
Speaking at the event, Manchu Vishnu expressed his honor in sharing the stage with luminaries like Sarath Kumar, Prabhu Deva, and Mukesh Kumar Singh. He emphasized the distinctiveness of the upcoming "Kannappa" film compared to the earlier classic.
"Fifty years ago, the devotional film Bhakta Kannappa, starring Krishnam Raju, was released in Telugu. We are now remaking Kannappa, but it is not the same story as the original. This is my version, a contemporary retelling of the Kannappa legend. It is important for the current generation to know about Kannappa," Manchu Vishnu explained.
The star-studded "Kannappa" film features performances by Manchu Vishnu, Mohan Babu, Sarath Kumar, Akshay Kumar, and Mohanlal. The movie is slated for release on April 25.
