Amit Shah to Meet Chandrababu Naidu, Key Issues on Agenda: Purandeswari

Union Home Minister Amit Shah is set to visit Andhra Pradesh tomorrow. As part of his itinerary, he will meet Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leader and the present Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu at his residence in Undavalli tomorrow evening. The two leaders are expected to discuss several key issues during their meeting. Following the discussions, Amit Shah will dine at Chandrababu Naidu’s residence. He will stay overnight at the Novotel Hotel in Vijayawada.

On the following day, Amit Shah will attend the 20th foundation day celebrations of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) at Kondapavuluru in the Gannavaram constituency.

Andhra Pradesh BJP President Daggubati Purandeswari commented on the upcoming meeting between Amit Shah and Chandrababu Naidu. She stated that significant topics would be discussed and hinted that political matters could also be on the agenda. She highlighted that during Atal Bihari Vajpayee's tenure, the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant received funding, and such financial support has continued under the current government.

Purandeswari further emphasized that the BJP has advocated for a package for the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant and expressed confidence that captive mines would be allocated to the plant. She also noted that the central government has been providing funds for the Polavaram project and credited the BJP-led NDA government for enabling such developments in the state.
