Hindenburg Research Founder Nathan Anderson Announces Closure of Firm

Nathan Anderson, the founder of the US-based short-seller Hindenburg Research, made a sensational announcement regarding the closure of his firm. In a note published on the Hindenburg Research website, Anderson stated, “I have decided to shut down Hindenburg Research. The firm will be closed once we complete the projects we are currently working on.”

Anderson clarified that this decision was not influenced by fear, personal issues, or health concerns. Hindenburg Research was founded by Anderson in 2017 and gained global attention for its high-impact reports.

The firm is notably remembered for its reports targeting India’s Adani Group in 2022 and 2024, which led to significant repercussions for the conglomerate. Additionally, Hindenburg Research previously released critical reports involving Madhabi Puri Buch, the chief of India’s market regulator, and her husband.
