Indian Cricketer Tilak Varma Shares Viral Selfie with Actor Vijay Deverakonda

Indian cricketer Tilak Varma, hailing from Hyderabad, recently had an unexpected encounter with Tollywood actor Vijay Deverakonda during a flight. Tilak took the opportunity to click a selfie with the popular actor, which he later shared on his social media account. Along with the photo, Tilak wrote on his Instagram stories, “Brother, it was a great surprise meeting you on the flight. It was wonderful catching up with you.” The selfie quickly caught the attention of netizens and went viral across various platforms.

Tilak Varma has been making headlines for his impressive performance in international cricket. Notably, during India’s tour of South Africa last November, he delivered a stellar performance, scoring back-to-back centuries. His contributions were instrumental in India securing a 3-1 victory in the four-match T20 series, earning him the 'Player of the Series' award.

The young cricketer has also been selected for the upcoming five-match T20 series against England, scheduled to begin on January 22. Under the captaincy of Suryakumar Yadav, the Indian team is gearing up for the challenge. Following the T20 series, India will engage in a three-match ODI series against England, starting from February 6 and concluding on February 12.

Post the bilateral series with England, the Indian team will head to the UAE to participate in the Champions Trophy.
