Holiday travelers heading to their hometowns are facing severe travel difficulties as the festive season brings a surge in demand for transport services. With large numbers of people queuing up to head to their native places, buses and trains are overcrowded. Despite the introduction of special buses and trains, they are filling up within minutes, forcing many passengers to explore alternative travel options.

This rising demand has led to a steep increase in airfares, with flight ticket prices soaring to unprecedented levels. Travelers flying from Hyderabad and Bengaluru to Visakhapatnam are reportedly shocked by the exorbitant rates. Tickets for flights from Hyderabad to Visakhapatnam today and tomorrow are priced at over ₹17,500, a significant rise from the usual fares. Similarly, those traveling from Bengaluru to Visakhapatnam are required to pay a minimum of ₹12,000 for a one-way ticket.

Under normal circumstances, airfare for Hyderabad and Bengaluru to Visakhapatnam ranges between ₹3,400 and ₹4,000. However, the current fares have surged by three to four times, leaving passengers with no option but to pay the hefty prices if they wish to travel.
