AP Govt introducing Visakha-Kakinada pleasure cruiser soon

Hyderabad, March 15, 2015:Eyeing on tourism to generate higher revenue, Andhra Pradesh Government has decided to give a big fillip to the tourism development in the state. As part of the plans, it has decided to introduce pleasure cruiser between Visakhapatnam and Kakinada to show green-capped hillocks, Buddhist attractions and tribal locations pervading the pictgureque shores between Eastern ghats and Konaseema. The Government has ordered the officials to make arrangements to anchor the cruise ship at Yarada or Bhimili by constructing the 12-meter draft. The AP Government wants to give international publicity to the cruise service so that it can attract international tourists boosting up its revenues. The Government hopes to make it the best tourist destinations in the country, says N.K. Prasad , Principle Secretary of the Tourism department.
