Krishna district revenue staff rebel against Collector

Vijayawada, March 15, 2015: The revenue staff and officers of Krishna district have rebelled against District Collector A.Babu saying that he has been mistreating and harassing them. The revenue officers and staff an an emergency meeting here discussed the harassment being reportedly meted out to them by the Collector. The staff asked him to change his style of functioning. The meeting felt that the Collector has been treating them like slaves and decided not to cooperate with him after office hours daily. "We have resolved not to attend video and cell conferences after 6 PM," one of the officers has revealed. For each and everything, the Collector has been harassing them calling them as useless and waste fellows, the meeting has felt. "Get lost, go home are the usual words he uses against us. We are being treated worse than attenders. If he doesn't change his style of functioning, we will not cooperate with him," some of them said. He is not sparing even senior staff and Gazetted officers, an officer has revealed.
