Chandrababu, Pawan Kalyan Always Think for Farmers’ Welfare: Nadendla Manohar

State Civil Supplies and Food Minister Nadendla Manohar criticized the previous government for neglecting farmers, stating that the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) failed to pay farmers for their paddy on time. In a social media post, Manohar pointed out that official statistics highlight the previous government’s shortcomings in assisting farmers. He praised the current coalition government led by Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan for bringing prosperity to farmers' families during the Sankranti season.

"By January 5, we procured 27 lakh metric tonnes of paddy from 4,15,066 farmers during the Kharif season," Manohar stated. "In contrast, the previous government procured paddy from only 2,12,431 farmers during the same period. Our government not only procures paddy but also ensures that payments are credited to farmers’ accounts within 24 hours. We have made payments amounting to ₹6,083.69 crores," he added.

Manohar emphasized that Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan consistently prioritize the welfare of farmers, highlighting their commitment to agricultural development in the state.
