Musa Kasera Builds a Village with 12 Wives and 102 Children
Kasera has 12 wives and 102 children, and through them, he now has 578 grandchildren. The total size of his family has reached an astounding 795 members. Supporting and providing shelter for such a large family has exhausted Kasera’s farmland, leaving little for cultivation. The youngest of his grandchildren is now five years old.
Due to the sheer number of grandchildren, Kasera struggles to remember their names and maintains a register to keep track of them. As resources have dwindled, many members of the family, including Kasera’s grown children, have taken up labor jobs in nearby villages to support themselves. Despite the challenges, this massive family has continued to live together, forming an entire community.
