AP Woman Officer Suspended for Alleged Misconduct in NTR Bharosa Program

The pension distribution program under the NTR Bharosa initiative is being conducted on a large scale across Andhra Pradesh today. However, an incident in the YSR district has drawn significant attention, where a woman police officer was suspended for allegedly collecting money during the distribution process.

In Jammalamadugu, Bharti, a ward secretariat woman police officer, was reported to have engaged in financial misappropriation during the pension distribution. Bharti's actions were brought to the notice of the authorities when she was seen collecting money from multiple individuals as part of her involvement in the program this morning.

Following these revelations, the District Collector, upon receiving a detailed report of the incident, directed the Municipal Commissioner to take immediate action. Consequently, Bharti was suspended from her duties.
