Blue print for new TS secretariat is ready
Hyderabad, March 13, 2015: Roads and buildings department of the Telangana Government has prepared a blue print for the new secretariat to be built at the sprawling 72-acre Chest and TB hospital at Erragadda in Hyderabad. The hospital will be shifted to Vikarabad. The blue print contains details of number of office blocks, floor space and departments to be accommodated. The Government has allotted Rs.150 Cr in the budget for the construction of the new secretariat. According to sources, three separate blocks will be constructed with each block containing five to six floors. One block will be exclusively earmarked for CMO, two blocks will be allotted for various departments. In the 72-acre campus, huge concrete structures will come up only 25 acres while the rest would be utilised for developing greenery and providing facilities for visitors. R and B department has also sent a file to the Finance Department for the appointment of a consultant for designing the drawings and designs for the new office complexes.
