KCR launches Kakatiya Mission for restoration of lakes

Nizamabad , March 12, 2015: Telangana Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhara Rao on Thursday unveiled the pylon at Sadasiva Nagar in Nizamabad district marking the launching of Kakatiya Mission aimed at restoration of lakes in the state. Speaking on the occasion, KCR said the Kakatiya Mission, when completed , will irrigate the entire state resulting in surplus production of agricultural produce. He said that very soon Nizamabad district will be divided into two districts with Kamareddy becoming the new district headquarters for the second one.
