Jr. NTR had earlier extended his support to his ardent fan Kaushik, who is battling cancer. Responding to Kaushik’s wish, the actor had once connected with him via video call and assured his mother that he would assist with Kaushik’s treatment.
However, a recent video featuring Kaushik's mother accusing Jr. NTR of not fulfilling his promise has gone viral on social media. In the video, she alleged that despite the actor’s assurance, he has not followed through with any support, and they have only received limited help from his fans.
The viral video sparked a strong response from actress Maadhavi Latha, who criticized the expectations placed on celebrities. In her social media post, she said, "If actors keep giving money to fans, they will end up begging on the streets. Fans are not supposed to be people who demand help. Being a fan means finding joy in a single word from your favorite actor, not expecting financial aid. That is selfishness, not admiration."
She further added, "Every day, someone comes forward asking for help. Many people roam around Film Nagar with stories hoping for opportunities. Only those with luck will succeed."
The post stirred significant discussions online, with netizens sharing varied reactions to her comments.
