Nagar Kurnool Man Dies After Wife’s Secret Loan Causes Humiliation

A tragic incident unfolded in the Madhuranagar Colony of Nagar Kurnool district, where a man named Gunna Muthyalu, aged 56, reportedly died by suicide after being distressed by his wife’s undisclosed financial dealings. According to locals and police, Muthyalu worked as an attender in the DMHO office, while his wife, Rajitha, had previously worked as a nurse but had since left the job.

Rajitha reportedly borrowed ₹1.50 lakh from a moneylender without informing her husband. On Saturday, the lender visited their home and demanded repayment, creating a public confrontation. The situation escalated when Muthyalu learned about the debt and felt deeply embarrassed by the incident in front of neighbors.

Overwhelmed by the situation, Muthyalu reportedly took his life by hanging himself from a ceiling fan in their home. Neighbors noticed the act in time to take him down and rush him to the hospital. However, despite medical intervention, he passed away during treatment on Sunday, doctors confirmed.
