Telangana Deputy Chief Minister and Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka announced a major recruitment drive, declaring that the state government will soon release a notification for another Mega DSC (District Selection Committee) with 6,000 posts. He made this statement during a one-day statewide hostel inspection program covering welfare and Gurukul schools in Khammam, Madhira, and Bonakal.
During the inspections, Bhatti Vikramarka officially launched a new menu for all welfare hostels across the state. Speaking to the media, he highlighted that students had faced hardships due to stagnant mess and cosmetic charges—unchanged for 10 and 16 years, respectively. After assuming office, the government increased diet charges by 40% and cosmetic charges by 200% to align with rising market prices.
Bhatti Vikramarka reaffirmed the government’s commitment to improving students’ welfare and enhancing employment opportunities through the upcoming Mega DSC notification.
