Chandrababu’s Govt Playing “Stunt Politics”: Jagan
Jagan claimed that during the YSRCP tenure, significant efforts were made to improve government schools. However, he accused the coalition government of ruining these schools and the education system. He criticized the “Ammaku Vandanam” scheme, alleging that it deceived parents and was used for publicity surrounding routine parent meetings. He sarcastically remarked that only Chandrababu Naidu could carry out such deceptive acts, calling him uniquely skilled in such dramatics.
"Meetings involving students, teachers, and parents are not new. During the YSRCP regime, we implemented revolutionary reforms in education with valuable suggestions from parents. However, Chandrababu and his colleagues are now creating illusions by renaming these meetings as something novel. Moreover, it is shocking that a circular was issued asking for donations and supplies from donors for these meetings," Jagan added.
Jagan further alleged that the coalition government stopped the "Ammaku Odi" scheme implemented during the YSRCP tenure. He pointed out that at yesterday's Parent-Teacher Committee meetings, neither Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, nor Education Minister Nara Lokesh addressed this issue.
He accused the government of degrading the education sector within six months of coming to power. According to Jagan, they are deliberately creating problems to drive children toward private schools, placing financial burdens on their parents. He questioned whether the government had no shame in misleading children and their parents with false assurances. These statements were made through a detailed tweet by Jagan.
