Vasireddy Padma Announces Decision to Join TDP

Vasireddy Padma, former Chairperson of the Andhra Pradesh Women’s Commission, has officially announced her decision to join the Telugu Desam Party (TDP). She revealed that she will formally join the party within a week. Vasireddy Padma met with Vijayawada TDP MP Kesineni Nani today and later addressed the media to share her plans.

Vasireddy Padma had resigned from the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) several days ago following her dissatisfaction with the party's leadership. Her departure came after she distanced herself from the party in the aftermath of its recent electoral defeat.

After resigning, Vasireddy Padma openly criticized YSRCP President Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy. She stated, “Jagan has no responsibility in running the party or the administration. He has completely neglected the workers who risked their lives for the party.
