Centre working on special package for AP, says Purandeswari

Rajahmundry, March 9, 2015: Former Union Minister and BJP leader D.Purandeswari said that the Centre has been working on a package for Andhra Pradesh in consultation with all stake holders with regard to the issue of granting special status. Speaking to reporters here, Purandeswari said that the BJP Government would fulfill all its promises made to AP in the AP Reorganisation Act. The Centre, which has released Rs.100 Cr for the Polavaram Project , would bear its entire expenditure in phase wise manner. Similarly, it would also release funds for the construction of the Capital city after the state government submits full and detailed report on it, she added. Purandeswari said that the Centre would also keep its promise on granting separate railway zone for Visakhapatnam.
