Telangana CM Revanth Reddy Tweets on 'Gruhajyoti' Scheme

The Telangana government is implementing the Gruhajyoti scheme with the aim of alleviating the burden of electricity bills on poor households. Under this initiative, families consuming up to 200 units of electricity per month receive free power. This has significantly reduced the financial burden on these families as they no longer need to pay electricity bills.

Recently, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy posted an intriguing tweet about this scheme. He noted that the government’s commitment to illuminating the homes of the underprivileged is yielding fruitful results. According to the CM, the Gruhajyoti scheme has benefited 10.52 lakh families in Hyderabad alone, which he described as a remarkable development. He further highlighted that the welfare-driven approach of the government reflects the legacy of Indiramma's administration.
