TDP,Cong members disturb Guv speech in TS Assembly

Hyderabad, March 7, 2015: The joint session of the TS assembly and council has witnessed noisy scenes during the Governor ESL Narasimhan's speech on Saturday as Congress and TDP members indulged in sloganeering throwing away the copies of his speech towards him. To restrain the Congress and TDP members, TRS members also jumped into the fray and pushed aside TDP members Revanth Reddy and Madhava Rao who were protesting against defections. The TDP members tore away the copies of the Governor's speech and demanded discussion on the defections.Fierce war of words ensured between TDP and TRS members. Members of the two parties pushed each other to gain an upper hand over the others. Governor continued his speech amid the din and pandemonium.
Black day for democracy: Errabelli
TDP MLA Errabelli Dayakara Rao later told media persons that today is a black day for democracy in Telangana. "We were silently protesting when TRS Goondas have attacked our MLAs, beaten them after pushing them to the ground," he said , serving a warning that they will continue to disturb the proceedings of the House till action is taken against party defectors and defector-minister Talasani Srinivasa Yada is dismissed from the Cabinet.
