Babu counters Pawan, says Capital city is for future generations
Hyderabad, March 5, 2015: In an instant reaction to the comments made by actor Pawan Kalyan during his visits to the capital region villages on land acquisition, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu said that capital city can be built in any extent of area as decided by us.
"It is all in our hands. we can decide the extent of area for deciding capital city. It can be built on 1000 acres or 5000 acres. But Capital city is not just four buildings. We have decided to build a world class capital city for the sake of the future generations," he said, when asked about Pawan Kalyan's comments on land acquisition.
Pawan Kalyan, now on a tour of capital villages, said he will find out what extent of land is actually required to build capital city. :"What is the necessity of collecting 30,000 acres for capital city?" he asked at one of the villages.
Chandrababu also took potshots at CPI and CPM saying they want 10 acres of land for constructing their party offices but they say only 500 or 1000 acres land is enough for Capital city.
